Registration Information

Avoid disappointment: Register early! Class sizes are limited. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and are considered complete only when a form of payment has been received. Simply complete and sign the attached registration form with your credit card information.

You will receive written confirmation via fax or email within 3 days of receipt of your complete registration. Information about the course location and other details will be included. Class schedules are subject to change: registered students will be notified of any changes in advance.

Course Times
Classes run from 8:30 am to 4:00 p.m. There will be two short breaks and one hour for lunch (not provided). One-half day classes run from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm for morning classes, and 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm for afternoon classes. Dress is casual.

Payment Information
Tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration. Course fees are listed for individual classes. Nucomm Data accepts a company check, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Approved Purchase Orders. Payment must be made in U.S. dollars.

Cancellations
Due to limited class size, MapInfo must maintain a firm cancellation policy. If it is necessary for you to cancel your registration, please note:

  • If you wish to make a substitution, you may do so without any fee. Please notify MapInfo Corporation or Nucomm Data immediately, should you wish to make a substitution.
  • You may reschedule your registration no less than 11 business days prior to the beginning of your class without penalty.
  • If you cancel your seat no less than 11 business days prior to the class, your registration fee will be refunded, minus a $100 cancellation fee.
  • If you cancel your seat within 10 business days of the start of the class, you will be charged in full and can rebook on a future course* for 50% off list price.
    *Future courses must be the same course, held at the same location as original booking. Subject to Availability.
  • We regret we cannot refund any fees if you fail to attend and have not notified MapInfo Corporation or Nucomm Data prior to the start of the class.

Requirements for Multiple Courses
If you are planning on taking multiple courses within one week, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Graphical User Interface expertise (Windows, Macintosh, SUN, HP)
  • Working knowledge of databases and terminology.
  • Programmer by trade (only required when taking Introduction,Intermediate, Advanced and MapBasic Development within one week).
