Schedules

Schedules (tanks to be filled) are determined by the degree days that have accumulated

 over a period of time. For each tank, a calculation is made comparing a Base Degree Day

 value (gas usage) to the accumulated degree days. If the tank is not scheduled by this

method then a further calculation is made using a constant burn factor. The Burn Factor

 represents the constant burn rate in gallons that a tank uses. The number of days since

 the last fill, the number gallons available to burn and the number of degree days that

have accumulated since the last fill are considered in this calculation.
