Operation

Double Clicking the Delivery Manager icon starts the program and displays 
the main screen.

When the Scheduling deliveries the program uses the next_fill_degree_days 
column in the tank_data table and the total degree day value from the 
Deg_Day_Num column of the Degree_Days table to schedule all tanks requiring a fill. 
This information is placed in the Scheduled_delivery table and is displayed in 
the Scheduler section. After the tanks are filled the delivery information may be 
entered into the database using the Delivery section. As part of this entry, 
the next degree day fill is calculated and updates the tank record. 
See Appendix A for an example of this calculation.

The degree days table must be maintained by entering the daily degree day 
values with the in the Degree Days window. Customer and Tank data may be 
maintained by selecting the Edit menu option Customers. Routes may be 
accessed and maintained by selecting the Edit menu option Routes. 
If the Mapping option is installed the Maps menu option activates the 
LP_Gas_Map module and the Query menu activates the Query Assistant module.
